The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) offers degrees and certifications in Gemology, including specialty in Pearls. During the COVID shutdown, they offered a series of "Knowledge Sessions" via live webinars to help educate people in the jewelry industry and others who were interested in learning more about various gemstones.
