In other posts, new fashionable up-to-date looks with pearls included mixing with chains and chips or varying sizes/colors/shapes.  The newest hot look is to take pearls and mix them with either round opaque gemstone beads for a soft look.  Or to create a more dramatic look by mixing pearls with faceted beads to give them a bling effect.
