Stuck on the couch recovering from a knee injury, I was looking for exercises to do sitting down. Found this 11-minute animated video with 6 exercises for a flat belly that you can do in a chair. Many of the exercises are similar to floor exercises that I have shared in series of diet and exercise posts, except you are sitting in a chair instead of lying on the floor. Saved video below for later use since can't do knee bends or get down on the floor for a few more weeks. In the meantime, I will have to ask my physical therapist which of these 5 easy-on-the-knees stretches might be okay to add to current routine and when.
Hopefully not much weight will be gained from a sedentary lifestyle the past few weeks. If so, I may have to go back on 21 Days to a Flatter Stomach Diet or try the rapid 3 Day Diet To Lose 10 Pounds.
Hope you can get something out of video in your home office. Or if you work at a health conscience company, maybe get some other people together and do as an on-the-job exercise program before lunch in a conference room? Either way - be safe and use a chair with arms and that has NO wheels so it can not roll out from under you!
