Grandma's Special Scalloped Potatoes Recipe

This recipe sounds simple rather than special 0 it is the resulting taste delight that makes it special.  It requires few ingredients and makes a small batch, so it is perfect for a small family.  If you have a large family or plan it as a holiday or special occasion buffet part of a larger gathering, make multiple batches.   You may store them until ready to re-heat so you can serve a new one as each pan is emptied so you always have a warm creamy replacement for the table or buffet.
