Grandma's Chocolate Chip and Nut Cookies Recipe

Below is my grandmother's version of the original toll house cookie recipe.  This is a small batch recipe from who knows how many decades ago.  If you want to make 3-5 dozen cookies for a special event, then search the internet for a different recipe as doubling her recipe might not produce your desired results. If you prefer a really soft cookie, try my spouse's recipe for Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies
