Since I never liked the taste of coffee (although I enjoy the brewing smell), I never tasted these. If you love coffee - coffee - coffee as so many people do, then you may want to try these.

1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 cups sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Steps:

- Cream together sugar and Crisco. Add eggs one at a time beating well.
- Sift together flour, soda, and baking powder. Stir into egg mixture alternately with coffee mixture.
- Spread batter into oiled and floured 10"x 16" x 1" jelly roll pan.
- Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
