Yummy Smoothie Recipes for Weight Loss - Top Seven Healthy Recipe Books

I got into smoothies when I did the 21-day diet, as that is what you have for breakfast most mornings.  That book only has four smoothie recipes in it.  So I decided to search the internet for a few new ideas.  Mostly i got recommendations for weight-loss recipe books or not-so-healthy recipe websites, although some sites offered a few recipes from the books.  The list of seven books below are the most popular "diet smoothie" books with the highest Amazon rankings, along with  links to "try-it" sites where available.

These two paperback books from Mendocino Press got 4-stars on Amazon:  Smoothie Recipe Book: 150 Smoothie Recipes and 70 recipes in Smoothie Recipe Book for Beginners.

 Avoid getting smoothies outside of hone, as most are made with flavored syrup in addition to fruit - so the calorie count can be high!  If you are planning to meet someone at a smoothie shop and are not sure of the calorie count, check their website or CalorieKing before leaving the house or office.
